Woven by the farming ladies of northern Thailand and Laos, these cotton Ikat shawls are produced only once a year during the monsoon season when there is no farming to be done. The dyes used are foraged Indigo, lotus flowers (for the pinks), roots and leaves providing a variety of colors. Very soft and tightly woven, great for cold weather climate and those who don’t like to wear wool or synthetics next to the skin.
