New and recent additions to Bee, Bark & Moss — archive fashion, artisan craft, and provenance objects added as they become available.

Bee, Bark & Moss was established in 2012 by Minori Shironishi and Philip Rodrigue in Carmel-by-the-Sea. We create hand-crafted lifestyle products and soft furnishings alongside a curated selection of small-batch design items from around the world—focusing on heritage, heirloom, and rare provenance pieces.
Custom inquiries for soft furnishings are welcome.
Minori, born in Tokyo, trained at Parsons School of Design and led Yohji Yamamoto USA for over 20 years. Philip, born in London, studied Fine Arts and Interior Design at the London College of Furniture before specializing in trompe l'oeil painting and furniture design in NYC.
Buddhist prayer bracelets handcrafted in Kyoto by makers with centuries of continuous practice — Kobori Bugutsu, established 1775, and Yasuda Nenju Ten, established 1683. Each bracelet is composed of 108 beads.
Kantha quilts, blankets, throws, and cushions made with fine handloomed textiles from India and around the world. The kantha pieces are designed by AtelierOM and made in collaboration with a local women's collective, India, using layers of cotton stitched together with a traditional running stitch. Cushions are fabricated by Bee, Bark & Moss in Carmel using AtelierOM block-printed and naturally dyed textiles. Each piece is selected for quality of material, weave, and craft.
Other conventional fabrics such as outdoor can be used on request.
