Bee, Bark & Moss was established in 2012 by Minori Shironishi and Philip Rodrigue in Carmel-by-the-Sea. We create hand-crafted lifestyle products and soft furnishings alongside a curated selection of small-batch design items from around the world—focusing on heritage, heirloom, and rare provenance pieces.

Minori, born in Tokyo, trained at Parsons School of Design and led Yohji Yamamoto USA for over 20 years. Philip, born in London, studied Fine Arts and Interior Design at the London College of Furniture before specializing in trompe l'oeil painting and furniture design in NYC.

Curated collection of authentic Buddhist bracelets featuring rare historical pieces from Kyoto, Japan. Our prayer beads date from 1775 and 108 meditation beads from 1683, each carrying centuries of spiritual significance and traditional Japanese craftsmanship. These meditation malas and spiritual accessories are designed to support mindfulness practices and personal spiritual journeys.
