“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.”
— William Morris
A selection of handcrafted and artisan homeware, sourced from makers with deep craft traditions across Japan, India, and California, alongside pieces made in-house in Carmel-by-the-Sea.
The collection includes handcrafted kantha quilts and block-printed textiles by AtelierOM, made in collaboration with a local women's collective in India; tawashi brushes and dustpans by Takada Co., Wakayama, Japan (70+ years in production); vintage 1930s National Parks chenille cushions from the Carol Dax Collection; French mattress cushions and soft furnishings made by Bee, Bark & Moss using AtelierOM block-printed, naturally dyed textiles; hemp and organic cotton dinner napkins made in collaboration with folk artist Marie-Clare Treseder Gorham; handcrafted meditation cushions made in Carmel; organic teas imported from a 6th generation farm in Shizuoka, Japan by Nasuno Tea House; and organic essential oils and body oils by Ajne, California.
Each piece is selected for material integrity, provenance, and lasting quality.
