A bolero from the Yohji Yamamoto Femme AW 1988 collection — one of the earliest pieces in the MS Yohji Archives. Constructed from two pieces of double knit wool with a single button closure, this bolero exemplifies Yohji’s early mastery of cut and proportion: minimal in detail, maximal in impact.
Sourced directly from Minori Shironishi, operations manager of the Yohji Yamamoto NYC flagship from 1988–2010. An exceptionally rare early Yohji piece in outstanding condition.
