A wool gabardine jacket from the Yohji Yamamoto Femme AW 1996 runway, with a single button closure and fringes cut directly from the sleeve fabric. The self-fabric fringe is a quietly radical detail — Long in proportion with a clean single button closure, it is one of the more wearable runway pieces from this season.
Sourced directly from Minori Shironishi, operations manager of the Yohji Yamamoto NYC flagship from 1988–2010. A distinctive and wearable archive jacket in pristine condition.
