Hematite is an iron oxide mineral with a metallic to submetallic luster, typically appearing in deep silver-gray or black. It is dense and opaque, with a hardness of 5–6 on the Mohs scale. Its weight and reflective surface give it a distinctly grounded, substantial feel.
What is amethyst?
Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz, ranging from pale lilac to deep purple. Its color comes from iron impurities and natural irradiation within the crystal. It has a vitreous luster and a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale, making it durable for everyday wear.
