What is tigers eye?
Tigers eye is a chatoyant gemstone with a golden to red-brown color and a silky luster. Its distinctive shimmer — known as chatoyancy — is caused by light reflecting off parallel fibrous structures within the stone. Each piece has a unique pattern of bands and movement, making no two stones alike.
