Handwoven mercerized cotton jacquard shawl in indigo and pink with a diamond weave pattern, from northern Thailand and Laos. Soft and tightly woven.
Woven by farming artisan women of northern Thailand and Laos, who weave only during the monsoon season when farming is not possible. Dyes are foraged — indigo and lotus flowers for the pink tones. The jacquard weave creates a diamond motif woven directly into the cloth.
